Urban Estimation

Construction Cost Estimating

Priced estimates with labor, material, and equipment built from current market data.

A number you cannot defend is a number you cannot bid. Our estimates show where every price came from: RSMeans baseline, current vendor quote, or your own historical cost, each line labeled with its source and date.

Pricing is adjusted to the project zip code, the wage environment (open shop, union, or prevailing wage), and the realities of the local market. Volatile commodities like lumber, rebar, and copper are broken out as separate lines with quote dates, so you know exactly which numbers to refresh if award comes late.

Labor built from production rates

Labor is priced from crew production rates against your measured quantities, not a percentage slapped on material cost. You see hours, crew composition, and rate assumptions for every scope.

Your margin structure, not ours

Overhead, profit, bond, and contingency are structured the way you bid. We carry them as visible lines you control, never buried inside unit prices.

Built to survive the bid review

When the owner asks why Division 09 looks heavy, you open the estimate and answer in thirty seconds. That is the test every estimate is built to pass.

Common questions

Where does your pricing data come from?

RSMeans location-adjusted data as the baseline, cross-checked against current vendor quotes and the cost history we build with each client over time. Every line shows its source.

Do you handle prevailing wage and union work?

Yes. We price against the applicable wage determination and carry fringes correctly, which matters on school, municipal, and DOT work.

Can you price an estimate from my own takeoff?

Yes. If you already have quantities, we can price them. Most clients have us do both, since takeoff and pricing assumptions need to match.
